The Motorola Droid Turbo is everything that some would have expected the new Moto X to be. With top of the line specifications, a great display, solid build quality and fantastic battery life, the Droid Turbo will make any non-Verizon customers jealous of the fact that it is available exclusively from that one carrier. A little over five years ago the world was introduced to the very first Motorola Droid, an Android device built exclusively for the Verizon network.
If you missed the news, the Nvidia Shield TV range just received an update to Android 11, including the original 2015 model. That’s seven years of full-on proper OS updates, not just little security patches and performance tweaks. The 2015 model, which launched with Android 5.1, has received 27 patches so far. And this is by no means the last update Nvidia’s Android TV gadgets look set to receive either. Frankly, Nvidia is putting pretty much every other Android device manufacturer to shame, and not just those selling TV dongles.
If you’re a John Oliver fan, you might have caught his recent segment on corporate consolidation. It’s too beefy to sum up in an editorial about Android, so I’ve embedded it below. The super TL;DR version is that companies are gobbling up competitors until certain industries are run by only a select few conglomerates. This is typically not good news for consumers because there is less competition and therefore little motivation to improve services or keep prices down.
Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P The Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P is an affordable robot vacuum that is effective at both vacuuming and mopping. However, concessions have been made to hit the price and this includes a small water tank and just enough battery life. More importantly, Xiaomi will need to ensure the availability of the product and spares if it hopes to make a dent in this upcoming market category. Dhruv Bhutani / Android Authority
Family Library, the Google Play feature that lets you share content with your family members, will be available in nine new countries starting today.
Google Play Family Library is perfect for anyone who wants to share digital purchases with loved ones. Why should your kid or spouse have to buy or rent Star Wars again just to watch it on their own tablet?

When you buy a new smartphone though, you’re not just getting the phone. You also have to buy complementary accessories for the device, like cases, headphones, screen protectors, etc. With that in mind, it’s good to know what Google Pixel 3 accessories are available, which is what this roundup is all about!
Check out our favorite Google Pixel 3 accessories below!
Cases and screen protectors Of all the Google Pixel 3 accessories you plan to buy, none will be as important as the case.
Kinvoca Joypad Controller for Nintendo SwitchThe only real advantage these Joy-Con knock-offs have over real Joy-Con is that you can individually charge each one. However, that charging is via Micro-USB, which the Switch doesn't support. Outside of that, these are just poorly-made cash-grabs. At this price, there are literally dozens of other products you could buy that would at the very least give you more features and better build quality. These should be a last resort only.

A reliable leaker has revealed that the OnePlus 10 Pro will offer 125W wired charging speeds. The Realme GT 2 Pro, Oppo Find X4 series, Oppo N series, and Reno 8 Pro will also reportedly feature the same speeds. There’s no word yet on wireless charging speeds for any of these devices. OnePlus‘ current top-tier phone, the OnePlus 9 Pro, is certainly no slouch when it comes to charging speeds.
AT&T has courted controversy in recent months over its fake 5G branding, but it looks like the U.S. carrier has been hit by another scandal. This time, the carrier has been slapped with a lawsuit over a hidden monthly fee.
The lawsuit, filed in the Northern District of California (spotted by Ars Technica), alleges that AT&T is engaged in a “bait and switch” scheme when it comes to monthly fees. More specifically, the complainants claimed that the carrier advertises one flat monthly rate for its mobile plans, then charges a higher monthly fee after customers sign up.
Last week, Hisense, a Chinese electronics company, released their first Google TV device. The Hisense Pulse is the second Google TV set top box to come in at $99 this year. As time goes on, Google TV keeps getting better and better, slowly moving from tech gadget to something you’d want your mom to have in her living room. Google TV has improved quite a bit over the past 2 years since the launching of the Logitech Revue, the first Google TV device.
