The OnePlus 8 Pro packs in plenty of new hardware to justify the company’s highest-ever smartphone price tag (McLaren editions not considered). One particularly intriguing feature on the menu is the handset’s dedicated color filter camera. We certainly don’t see this type of camera too often.
This is the fourth camera on the back of the OnePlus 8 Pro, but it occupies the bottom slot in the main triple camera housing.
When we’ve talked about full-screen phones in 2018, that’s meant around an 80 percent screen-to-body ratio with a small bottom bezel and a notch housing the front camera. The front-facing camera is an integral part of the phone so this design was necessary — until now.

With the Oppo Find X, the Chinese company follows in the footsteps of fellow BBK-owned phone company Vivo, hiding the camera in the top of the phone.
In case you haven’t heard, Project Fi is Google’s own cellular plan, with which it hopes to win over frequent international travelers. With nearly unlimited data and consistent pricing in over 170 countries, you probably won’t need to go hunting for a local SIM card ever again. In the last few months, I’ve traveled to Japan, Spain, Switzerland, The Czech Republic, and now China on this service. It can be a little inconsistent outside the U.
Nvidia has some of the best GPU hardware out there, but that’s not the whole reason for its success. Over the years, Nvidia has consistently worked to make its software implementations back up its powerful GPUs, and that shows in the product offerings it has today. One of these implementations is Nvidia Deep Learning Super Sampling, better known as Nvidia DLSS.
Nvidia introduced DLSS as a feature to go along with its RTX lineup of GPUs.
Thinking back all the way to April 2016, Huawei’s P9 and P9 Plus smartphones entered the highly-competitive Android market with a sleek design, top-of-the-line specifications (for the time), and a dual camera setup that was co-developed by German optics company Leica. Thanks to a bigger focus on marketing (and some brand recognition due to the Leica partnership), the P9 and P9 Plus made an overall good impression on users around the world – even in the United States.

To this day, the Galaxy S6 Edge remains one of my favorite devices: it felt revolutionary at the time in various ways.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 is a fast phone with its 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos processor and 1 GB of RAM. You also get to enjoy its wide and vibrant 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display. Imagine playing your high-definition games with this beast. Playing games like Riptide GP and Osmos HD is really smooth on the Samsung Galaxy S3, but the people at XDA don’t seem to be satisfied with its speed.
If they haven’t done so already on their own, Android developers can now no longer use Google Play Services for any apps that support Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The company previously said this would happen in early 2017, and now the change notes for Google Play Services 10.2 that went live this week confirm it is the first without support for Gingerbread.

The beleaguered Android-based gaming console known as Ouya came in with a bang, dealt with some rocky progress, and ultimately is exiting with a whisper.
According to Razer — which bought the Ouya brand for an undisclosed sum in June 2015 — the micro-console’s game service will shut down on June 25, 2019. After that date, most if not all of the games in the game store will cease to work correctly, depending on whether or not the developers instituted a purchase validation upon launch.
Update: April 22, 2020 (6:11AM ET): According to SamMobile, Samsung is now rolling out a fix for the green tint issue on the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
Even though the language in the changelog is generic, the publication confirms that the new firmware version G98xBXXU1ATD3 indeed fixes the problem.
The update is rolling out in Germany right now and can be expected to hit other markets soon. It’s unclear if it also fixes other issues like slow charging, autofocus, and overheating on the S20 Ultra.
