Some Nexus 4 users are reporting that the Android 4.4 KitKat OTA has finally graced their phones. The update comes just hours after the Verizon Moto X received the same bump to Android 4.4 and after Google rolled out a bug fixing update to some of its others Nexus devices.
Users on Twitter and on forums report that the update weighs in at 238 MB and that it brings the build number to KRT16S.

Samsung Russia unveiled a new Galaxy S4 version that takes design cues from the Note 3.
Dubbed Black Edition, the new Galaxy S4 comes with the faux leather finish that Samsung introduced on the Galaxy Note 3 and Note 10.1 (2014) back at IFA and extended with the NotePRO and TabPRO line at CES this year. The look is complete with faux stitching going round the back cover’s edges and the speaker opening on the back.

TL;DR
Android 12 now sends a notification to let you know what happened to all the features ‘missing’ from the new power menu. You now have to swipe down to access Google Pay and other perks. Googlers aren’t entirely happy with the change. If you’ve used Android 12, there’s a good chance you’ve noticed the stripped-down power menu — Google has neutered many of the features after building them up in Android 11.
