Back in September, Samsung took the wraps off the Galaxy Folder 2 flip phone. The device, which was only available in China so far, has now been launched in South Korea as well. Both the 3G and LTE versions will be available with pricing starting at KRW 297,000, which is around $260.
The Galaxy Folder 2 has a 3.8-inch LCD display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. You’ll find the Snapdragon 425 chipset under the hood along with 2 GB of RAM.

Reliable leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka @OnLeaks) just posted renders that allegedly depict the Samsung Galaxy S30. The phone has a new camera design that makes the bump much more subdued. This is a very early leak for the Galaxy S series, suggesting Samsung could launch the phone earlier than usual. Earlier today, reliable smartphone leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer posted some images that he claims are of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S30.
Ahead of National Tell A Story Day (which is a thing, apparently), Google is rolling out a new feature to Google Assistant-powered smartphones: Tell Me A Story.
Truth be told, this feature isn’t actually new, as it’s been available on Google Home devices since 2017. However, the feature now works on Android and iOS smartphones in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, and India. The stories will be read aloud in English regardless of which country you are in.

We recently unboxed the Google Pixel 4a 5G. That phone seemed like the Goldilocks device of this year’s Pixel lineup, with the biggest display, a wide-angle camera, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset with 5G connectivity. Nevertheless, some people want a more premium device than the Pixel 4a 5G. And for those people, there’s the Google Pixel 5.
Join us as we go hands-on with the new Google Pixel 5.
If you loved everything about the Samsung Galaxy S5, but thought that it was too big, the Galaxy S5 Mini is the device for you. Samsung started the trend of releasing variants of flagship smartphones, in order to profit from the brand recognition of its most popular products. This is something that many OEMs do now, so the market is flooded with mini, compact, max, and ultra versions of phones from LG, HTC, Sony, and more.
The cheapest 4K camera on GoPro’s official site usually goes for around $300. While it may be within your budget to get one, is it wise to bring something that valuable to your action-packed adventure?
A much more affordable option is the XtremePro Action Cam. It might not have all the bells and whistles of a GoPro, but it shoots crystal clear 4K footage. Right now it’s on offer for only $49.

Infinix has announced a color-changing concept phone with 160W charging speeds. The Infinix Concept Phone 2021 can be fully charged in 10 minutes. Infinix isn’t exactly the most recognizable name in the smartphone space, but the Transsion-owned brand has seen success on the African continent, the Middle East, and parts of Asia. The firm is generally known for offering mid-range and entry-level smartphones, but it’s aiming pretty high with the newly announced Infinix Concept Phone 2021.
Facebook completely overhauled Facebook Messenger for the iOS platform this week. While the company does plan to retouch Messenger for Android, the world’s most popular mobile operating system won’t receive the same extensively rewritten app that iOS did.
“Our goal is to build for the unique strengths of each platform,” said a Facebook spokesperson to Android Authority via email.
Facebook basically rewrote the entire Messenger codebase for Apple’s iOS platform. The goal, said Facebook, was to create a smaller, faster, simpler application that loads twice as quickly and takes up less space on the phone.
Consider this for a second – the current most popular Android device and the only device that has a chance of taking the title away from it are both Galaxy S phones. An impressive achievement for Samsung, whose Galaxy S3 already sold in 50 million units, a performance that will probably be outdone by the new Galaxy S4.
Widely regarded as the best Android smartphone of 2012, the Galaxy S3 is still a very good option for many customers.
With slowing growth and the emergence of some worthy competitors over the last couple of years, that status was already under threat even before the recent news that the company lost over 200,000 paid subscribers in the first quarter of 2022. That’s the first dip in subscribers in over a decade. Rising prices and new measures to crack down on password sharing combined with a dwindling slate of licensed titles have made many subscribers reconsider their relationship with the streamer.
