A new reality show called Exposure on Hulu will center wholly around the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. Competitors on the show will test out their photography skills using only the phone, with one person going home the winner. Samsung created the series in partnership with Will and Jada Pinkett Smith’s media group known as Westbrook Media. Recently, Samsung partnered with The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on a pseudo film festival.
IFA 2017 is here and manufacturers have been holding press events for the past several days to show off their latest and greatest gadgets. GPS tech and wearable manufacturer Garmin is among them, taking to the stage a couple of days ago to introduce three new wearable products.
These arrived in the form of the vívoactive 3, its flagship, feature-packed watch that comes with its all-new mobile payments system, the vívomove HR, a stylish, hybrid smartwatch, and the vívo sport, the company’s latest fitness band (read an overview of the three devices here).

Huawei has released the Band 7, a diminutive smartwatch packed with features with a rumored price of €59 (~$61). The GT 3 Pro offers a classic aesthetic masquerading as a smartwatch. Both devices are in China only for now but should make their way to other territories soon. Update, May 13, 2022 (04:18 PM ET): A new report by WinFuture says the Band 7 will be available in Europe, or at least Germany, for €59 (~$61).

TL;DR
Google’s Security Hub app may have given us a rough estimate of how many Pixel phones are in use right now. As per the app’s Play Store listing, there could be millions of modern Pixel phones currently out there. The app is exclusive to Google phones running Android 12. Google doesn’t share Pixel sales numbers. That’s why when CEO Sundar Pichai recently disclosed that the company saw record phone sales in the last quarter, no one had a clue how many units were actually sold.

Xiaomi now says its smartphones that it blocked from being used in certain markets are now unblocked. The company claims that it wanted to make sure the phones were not being smuggled into countries and sold on the grey market. However, those phones should now be working once again. Late last week, reports came in that a number of Xiaomi phones that had been imported into certain markets were no longer working.

Life360 — which owns the family-tracking app of the same name and will soon own Tile — sells a ton of user data. A new report suggests the company allegedly plays fast and loose with that data. The company has no plans to sell Tile user data, but its family-tracking app bears no such promise. At this point, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to find out that a company is making money off your data.
