Fast forward a year and a half to April 2020, and the revived sub-brand released the Poco F2 Pro. The newer device took a slightly different approach. No longer are the specs the true focus. Instead, Poco brought in quality metal and glass parts, a couple more cameras, and a pop-up module to create a more well-rounded phone.
But at $499, is it worth upgrading from the F1 to the F2?

One of the defining features of the Galaxy Note series has always been a large display, and with Samsung bringing their Infinity Display design language to their second flagship line, the screen is really allowed to shine through this time around. Add to it all that Samsung has to offer with their high-end devices like top of the line specifications, all the hardware and software features you may want, a fantastic camera setup, and the S-Pen and everything that it lets you do, and Samsung has yet another winner on their hands with the Galaxy Note 8.

The gimbal camera works as advertised and delivers silky smooth video and quality low-light images from the primary camera. The Snapdragon 765G chipset might appear a bit meh, but most users should find the trade-off in additional battery life to be worthwhile.
LG made the decision to exit the smartphone business earlier this year, resulting in the firm canceling several phones that were in development. We got a good look at one of these phones, the LG Velvet 2 Pro, earlier this month when a hands-on video surfaced online.
The scuppered phone had a Snapdragon 888 SoC, 120Hz screen, a versatile triple rear camera, and a 4,500mAh battery, making for a handy device on paper.
