The LG G8 ThinQ has powerful specs and a beautiful design, but so do many other smartphones. Some argue the phone doesn’t do much to stand out, something we agreed with in our LG G8 ThinQ full review. That’s not the full story though, the phone does have a handful of cool features that often get overlooked. Two of the most interesting features are Hand ID and Air Motion, which allow you to unlock and control your smartphone without touching it.

Carriers in the US may have launched their commercial 5G networks in 2019, but the next-generation technology is still in its infancy. Coverage is spotty, supporting phones are still few and far between, and so far the high-speed gear in the hands of consumers has failed to meet the hype. Unfortunately, that includes AT&T 5G.
I spent several weeks testing AT&T‘s 5G network on a couple different devices and came away wholly unimpressed.
Since September 1966, the Star Trek universe has become one of the biggest entertainment franchises of all time. While others — particularly Star Wars and the Marvel Cinematic Universe — are perhaps more popular, it was Star Trek that led the way decades ago. Its legions of fans would not let this low budget three-season series disappear. This has led to 13 feature films, six additional live action TV series, and even an animated series, with more to come.
Update, April 3 2020 (3:50AM ET): Samsung confirmed last week that it was bringing One UI 2.1 to more devices, after the update launched on the Galaxy S20 series.
Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series owners in the US won’t have to wait anymore though, as Samsung just revealed that One UI 2.1 is coming to those devices in the market from today (April 3). News of the US update comes roughly a week after Korean devices reportedly received it.
For a significant segment of the Samsung supportive, updates to their device’s Android version is an on-going and, at times trying, battle. Comment sections are often filled with angry users complaining about their product of choice being “abandoned”, and unfortunately today’s news is not going to alleviate any terse tensions: Samsung UK has announced, via a post on Twitter, that last year’s Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 will not be updated past Android 4.
Google Keep might not be as feature-packed as Evernote, but it still offers more than just the basics. There are five great feature we think are worth a closer look. Before we get into that, let’s quickly go over the basics of the service.
Google Keep lets you capture what’s on your mind by taking notes on its Android app or web client, automatically synchronizing data between the two in the blink of an eye.

German is a surprisingly popular language. It’s the official language of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and several other regions. It’s a West Germanic language along with English and other dialects. There are a variety of apps and services that teach German. There are also apps that teach a little at a time and others that teach it all the way to fluency. However, only a few do it really well.
A not-so-new Samsung Galaxy phone with a removable battery just went on sale in the US. With internals that somewhat match those of the Galaxy S9, the Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a $1,100 phone that’s now up for grabs through AT&T.
The device was first introduced in October 2019 but its availability at the time was limited to enterprise customers.
The rugged phone has a removable battery and is designed for people like law enforcement officers, emergency workers, hikers, trekkers, technicians, and other users who basically need a rough and tough device for extreme conditions.
“Hey Google” is a phrase I say often. I’ve been using Google Assistant regularly on my phone for a while now, and although I love it, it’s still far from perfect. The software lacks a lot of features users would embrace with open arms, some of which should have been available ages ago in my opinion. Interested in hearing what they are? Read on to find out.
Hey Google, change the hotword to…To get Assistant’s attention, you either have to say “Hey Google,” or “OK Google.

Looking to dump the Samsung Galaxy S8 for a newer Galaxy S9? You have probably already heard that the improvements are not as substantial as one might hope. Even our own Joshua Vergara tells us the upgrade might not be worthy for many of you. It’s a tough decision, as we are always struggling between saving money and having the shiniest, newest tech. If one thing were to push you over the edge, however, it’d be the camera, as that is typically the biggest differentiator between the S9 and its predecessor (as well as all competition).
