Note fans, the time is nigh! Samsung announced today that its hotly anticipated Note 4 will go up for pre-order from tomorrow, September 19.
In the United States, the S Pen-toting beast will become available in stores from October 17. And that’s the time parcels will begin shipping to those who pre-ordered.
Across the pond, UK customers will have a week less to wait, as the Note 4 will hit the store shelves from October 10.

It’s almost hard to remember now, but in 2013, when Netflix put out its first original series — House of Cards — some people thought the company was crazy. The first season alone cost tens of millions of dollars, and suddenly thrust Netflix into competition with cable channels like HBO and Showtime. Update: March 9, 2020 (12:35 PM ET): After much anticipation, Mario Kart Tour multiplayer mode is officially available for everyone as of yesterday, March 8. Nintendo first announced the mode’s official release date last week, and it looks the company has stuck to its word.

Update, November 2, 2020 (03:45 PM ET): It looks like Sony wasn’t too happy with the idea of custom PS5 plates. The company formerly known as PlateStation (as described below) announced that it will no longer sell custom plates for the upcoming console. In a tweet, it says this was a direct result of Sony bringing the hammer down based on “patent and intellectual property issues.”
PlateStation has now rebranded to “Customize My Plates” and will instead offer vinyl skin coverings for the PS5 and its accessories.

Google has a new brick-and-mortar store in New York City. Though Google has experimented with pop-up stores in the past, it is calling this new establishment its “first” store, named the Google Store NYC. The store is located on the first floor of the company’s New York headquarters building on 9th Avenue. It officially opened on June 17.
Prior to opening, Google said the new store will be a “natural extension of our commitment to NYC and provide customers with hands-on interaction with our lineup of devices and services.
