Huawei launched the Nova 5T in Malaysia in August. The quad-camera phone is now coming to Europe in November.
The Huawei Nova 5T is the exact same phone as the Honor 20 which was launched by Huawei’s sub-brand in May. Highlights of the phone include last year’s flagship Kirin 980 chipset and a quad camera setup led by a 48MP shooter. It also gets GPU Turbo 3.0 to handle gaming performance.

Samsung Display has revealed that it will develop rollable and sliding displays in 2021. The news comes after LG and Oppo both revealed rollable smartphone tech. Samsung Display senior vice-president Kwon-Young Choi confirmed during an earnings call (h/t: The Elec) that it will “fortify our presence in the display market through innovative form factors such as rollable and sliding displays.”
The executive didn’t confirm whether these screens would indeed be for smartphones, but Samsung filed a patent back in 2019 for a rollable phone that resembles Oppo and LG’s efforts.

OnePlus has announced the end of software support for the OnePlus 6 and 6T. Both phones received their final update in November 2021. Neither will receive official Android 12 builds. OnePlus 6 and 6T owners are waking up to some bad news today. The two former flagships will no longer receive software support, OnePlus confirmed in an official forum post.
