Nuance Communications reportedly held acquisition talks with Samsung earlier this year.
Nuance is one of the biggest players in speech recognition technology; the Massachusetts-based company’s voice recognition software underpins Samsung’s S Voice assistant, as well as Apple’s Siri. Other clients of the company include automakers like Daimler, and smart TV manufacturers like Panasonic.

WithCOVID-19 forcing more of us to work from home than ever before, it’s important to have the right equipment for the job. That includes a good printer. Basic printers are convenient and affordable, but the best all-in-one printers can do more than materialize documents and photos into existence. Samsung has launched the Snapdragon 865 version of the Galaxy S20 FE 4G. The phone is identical to its Exynos and 5G models, except for the lack of the Snapdragon X55 modem. Unlike the previous LTE variant of the phone that featured the Exynos 990 chipset, the new phone pack a Snapdragon 865 processor.
The more you have to spend the more you’re likely to save, but one of the best deals in terms of a percentage mark-down is on the Lenovo 10e Chromebook. This tablet isn’t a powerhouse in terms of specs, but if you’re just looking for an affordable device for your work or streaming needs then the offer is pretty unbeatable.

Google’s newly released Camera app comes with a nifty little feature called Lens Blur. The feature lets you select areas in a picture that you want to defocus, to imitate that special bokeh effect that you typically see on shots taken with high-end cameras.
Polish developer Rafał Lindemann created Depthy, a tool that uses the depth map in Lens Blur shots to add a parallax effect to your images.
So far, it’s more of a proof of concept, but the code is open source and freely available, meaning that it’s just a matter of time until someone creates the first app (live wallpaper?
In a previous tutorial, I walked you through the process of making your first “2D game.” We built a simple script which would let a character sprite bounce around the screen. From there, I insinuated it wouldn’t be too much work to turn that into a full game.
I was telling the truth! You could check out this article to add sensor support to your code and control your character by tilting the phone and maybe go after collectables on the screen.
