A Web API is an online “application programming interface” that allows developers to interact with external services. These are the commands that the developer of the service has determined will be used to access certain features of their program. It is referred to as an interface because a good API should have commands that make it intuitive to interact with.
An example of this might be if we want to get information about a user from their social media account.

Problem #1: Missing features on Google Messages
Ryan Haines / Android Authority
Users have noticed that Samsung has a skinned version of Google Messages on the Galaxy S22, even though the name and the Google Play Store link are the same as what you’d see on a non-Samsung phone. Apart from the different layout and colors, the biggest complaint is that the Galaxy S22 messaging app is missing features like the ability to see emoji text reactions from iPhones and the option to send high-resolution photos with a Google Photos link.

TL;DR
Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon 690 chipset. This is the first 5G chip in the budget-focused Snapdragon 600 series. Expect phones with the chipset to be announced in H2 2020. 2020 seems to be the year when 5G went from a relative rarity to a common fixture on many a phone. This is mainly due to the Snapdragon 865 and Snapdragon 765 series of 5G processors that are now in many of today’s devices.

According to details obtained by Android Authority from a trusted source, Google was working on a smarter, visual, and more contextual lock screen and always-on display for Android. This project, which was conceptualized during the development of Android 11, was abandoned in favor of the short-lived power menu interface that married Google Pay and smart home controls.
Google’s original vision was more intricate and interesting, though.
Google Play’s Parental Controls are an important part of the Play Store. It helps you keep your account safe from unauthorized transactions from your children. Additionally, it works across all parts of the Play Store whether it be apps, games, movies and TV, books, or music. Luckily, the process is fairly easy to setup and takes place entirely in the Play Store app. There is also additional methods via the Family Link app and we’ll go through that process as well.

If you purchased an Android phone recently, chances are that it prompted you to install a security update or two at some point. You may have noticed that these updates don’t typically add much in the way of new functionality. Instead, they tend to be pretty small in size — around a few hundred megabytes or so. Notably, they’re also independent of the larger version updates (like Android 12) that bring a slew of new features.
