Now available on the Play Store, Action Launcher v42 finally includes theme support. That means you can now pick between light, dark, and full dark themes. The full dark theme will look particularly great on AMOLED panels. However, the difference in battery savings compared to the normal dark theme is negligible.
Quicktheme now also integrates better with the current theme. For example, you can set the search box to change with your wallpaper, but have the folder background tint change with the theme and the app drawer ignore any changes.
As the developer states in the app’s Play Store listing, you could get all of these wallpapers yourself by just visiting Reddit. What’s special about Hidey Hole, is that the app makes finding specific images more convenient to locate while throwing in a couple of extra features.
Inside the app, you can first sort the wallpapers based on which Galaxy S10 they were made for. From there, you can have the photos listed by the date that they were uploaded to Reddit or by popularity.

Skype 4.5 is rolling out today, and there’s actually a pretty useful feature being introduced: the ability to have a picture-in-picture window that can stay open and viewable even when in different Android apps.
In short, you can now participate in a Skype video call and still do other tasks like browse the web, play a game and so-forth. While Samsung might have multi-window support that allows for multitasking, this is one of the first apps we’ve ever heard of that actually allows you to “float” itself on top of the homescreen and even other Android apps.
Bethesda rocked up to the E3 2018 gaming expo last night and proceeded to unleash a barrage of long-awaited reveals and surprise announcements. Yet, nestled among demos of Fallout 76, our first look at a new Elder Scrolls RPG for mobile, and confirmation that Elder Scrolls 6 will exist one day, you might have missed what was by far the strangest of the bunch: Skyrim for Amazon Alexa.
Under normal circumstances, the news that Skyrim — the fifth main Elder Scrolls game first released back in 2011 — is being ported to another new platform would hardly be a surprise.
Google has rolled out an update to its Photos app allowing you to tag yourself in pictures. When you login online or launch the Photos app, you may soon be asked to identify yourself so that the Google Photos algorithms can find your face in other pictures.
Google lists three benefits of doing this; you can:
Get more personalized creations. For example, a movie that has photos of you. Get personalized search.
Update: Google has now released an official blog post on not just the new support for web-based texts on Android Messages, but several other new features that will be rolled out over the next week. As we previously reported, once the Android Messages app update goes live, just go to the settings menu, click “Messages for web,” then scan the QR code on the Messages web client so you can send and receive texts on your desktop or laptop.
Is your mind playing tricks on you, or is that brand-spanking new Samsung Galaxy S8 (or Galaxy S8 Plus) screen look like it came straight out of 2013? It certainly looks like it did, as Samsung has decided to set the default resolution to FHD+ (2220 x 1080) and not the native QHD+ (2960 x 1440).
The reason? We are not exactly sure, but it must have something to do with battery life and/or performance.
