Today Bandai Namco has announced it will be partnering with Sony to produce a free-to-play mobile game version of the upcoming film. The game has you take on the role of the movies heroes, who are sent to stop the aliens that are using 80s gaming characters as their weapons of mass destruction.

Here's our first look at the Google Home Hub in Charcoal

TL;DR Images of the Home Hub in a charcoal colorway have leaked out. Thanks to the side profile image, Google’s Smart Display looks to be rather small. Last week, we were able to confirm that Google’s rumored Smart Display would be called the Home Hub and only cost $149. But at the time, we only had leaked renders of the device in a chalk colorway. Alternative app store Uptodown launches its Android client

Update, March 31: Uptodown co-founder Luis Hernández Garrido has reached out following this article’s publication to clarify its store numbers. According to Garrido, Uptodown features “150,000 apps, plus 200,000 previous versions available to download and 4M APKs stored on [its] system.” The original Uptodown blog post on the matter has also been updated to reflect this. Original story: Uptodown says it is the most visited Spanish website in the world. Uptodown also says it is the 180th most visited website globally.

Google Pay finally available at 7-Eleven stores in the US

TL;DR 7-Eleven has announced it has started to accept payments made with Google Pay in the U.S. Most of the chain’s stores should support the service by the end of September. Having a convenience store chain with such a large presence on board is great news for Google Pay users. Shoppers in the U.S. will soon be able to use Google Pay to pay for goods at 7-Eleven stores.

Google sends out referral codes for 15% off Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL

The codes, which are being dispatched via email, also awards referrers a $50 coupon if someone uses their unique code. The news arrives via DroidLife, but it’s unclear who exactly Google is sending the codes to; it looks like they’re being handed out to customers who’ve previously purchased a Pixel 2 (so those customers would be incentivized to get others to buy one).

Update: December 23, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. ET: WinFuture’s earlier report suggested the Note 10 Lite may debut on January 10, and we may have more details about the upcoming launch date. According to The Korea Herald, Samsung will debut the Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Lite at CES 2020 in January. CES 2020 takes place in Las Vegas from January 7-10, 2020, and Android Authority will be there for the show.
