2019 saw the release of two sets of Google Pixel phones for the first time in a calendar year. First we got the Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL — the first budget Pixels from the search giant — and then came the true successor to 2018’s Pixel 3 series — the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL.

Google‘s Pixel phones have long had a reputation for taking great photos, arguably popularizing the use of multi-frame algorithms to take better shots. The company has since offered features like Night Sight, astrophotography, and Super Res Zoom, making for quite a suite of options.
One major missing feature is a pro or manual mode, and we thought this is a long-overdue addition for Pixel phones. But what do you think, though?
It only took 33 years, but at long last Pac-Man, the classic video game which was first launched as an arcade machine game in 1980, is free to play on Android. The game’s owners Namco have made Pac-Man + Tournaments free on Google Play. The app, which includes the classic Pac-Man maze and ghosts, also features a tournament mode with new mazes and rankings.Essentially, Namco has chosen to go down the freemium route. The classic version of Pac-Man is the bait and once in, the hook is the tournaments with its new mazes and dozens of new bonus items to gobble.
Would you look at that, HTC might try to make a nostalgia-driven comeback. It’s something many of us at Android Authority want, and I’m sure many of our readers would be happy about it, too. But before we get too excited, Negative Jimmy needs to make a return and ask if this is the right thing to do.
I care about HTC. I do! At least, I used to back when it made compelling smartphones.
