Getting a new smartphone is a fun experience, as you unbox the device and play around with your shiny new toy. The setup process involves some work though, as you add a Wi-Fi connection, log in to your relevant accounts, install the desired apps, tweak sound profiles accordingly, add Bluetooth devices, and more.

Galaxy S4 apps, how do I uninstall thee? Let me count the ways.
Android is an app-driven platform. Everything that you can do on your Galaxy S4 you can achieve by running apps. Some apps (especially system apps) come with your phone straight from the factory, others you install from sources such as the Google Play Store. There’s not much that you can do to remove preinstalled system apps, but — just in case you haven’t gotten round to actually doing it first time — you can actually uninstall user apps and recover storage space.
One of the most important lessons I ever learned as a developer, although it took some time to sink in, was “don’t reinvent the wheel.” Understanding how to use libraries in Android Studio is a big part of that.
In other words: if you need to perform a common task, you probably don’t need to write the code yourself. It might feel like “cheating” to use someone else’s code to resize a bitmap or modify a string but, in truth, it’s just good sense.

Oppo’s ColorOS 6 is the latest version of the company’s custom Android skin. ColorOS 6 takes better advantage of tall displays, includes performance-enhancing features, and a fresh paint job. According to Oppo, the ColorOS 6 rollout is from April through September. Starting with the looks, ColorOS 6 opts for “border-less” symmetry that’s based on invisible lines and grids. That means stock apps now offer a proper full-screen experience with cleaner borders and other UI elements.

With the Nokia 6.1 Plus, HMD Global finally offered a well-rounded mid-range smartphone where, unlike the company’s 2017 portfolio, the specifications sheet didn’t look dated and the pricing didn’t evoke, to put it mildly, a mixed reaction.
It seems the companies have figured it out – smaller form factors aren’t a fringe product but are in very real demand. But “mini” versions of flagships tend to lose some of what make their bigger siblings appealing in the first place, unfortunately. Sony, though, appears ever aspirational in its quest for greater consumer loyalty and market share, and wanted to buck that trend with a “compact” offering that literally just shrinks down their best device.
