Generally, whenever Apple announces a new iPhone, it also announces a new System-on-a-Chip. Inevitably, comparisons are made between Apple’s latest SoC and the latest offerings from Qualcomm, Samsung, Google, and MediaTek. It doesn’t usually take long for benchmarking numbers to appear and for Apple to be declared the winner.
So, why is it that Apple’s SoCs always seem to beat the competition? Why are the processors used by Android seemingly so far behind?

According to independent analysis from The Verge, Facebook Dating isn’t very popular, especially when compared to other services. Facebook hasn’t mentioned much about its dating app since it launched globally in 2019. It is highly likely Facebook’s bad reputation for data security plays a part in this service’s apparent lack of popularity. In 2019, Facebook finally brought its dating app to North America. Previously, it had had a test run in South America.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is not only an improvement on the Note line, it just might be the best improvement we’ve seen in a smartphone, period. When the Galaxy Note first burst onto the scene, smartphones with large displays were practically unheard of. Sure, there were a few fringe devices pushing the envelope before it, but those never came close to mainstream. Fast forward a few years, and – thanks to the success of the Note series – the big screen is now the current standard across all flagships.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is all the hype as the device keeps making its way around the world and it is all but guaranteed to be among the top-selling handsets of the year. There’s plenty to love about the new Samsung flagship, but we know plenty of you are more concerned about the Galaxy S7’s ability to fulfill those photo needs.

Samsung is known for releasing some of the best camera phones in the industry.

Update, October 8, 2019 (3:15AM ET): We’ve been waiting for the Colorize feature to land in Google Photos for over a year now, promising to bring AI-generated color to monochrome pictures. Thankfully, it looks like we’re a step closer to the feature rolling out for all users.
9to5Google obtained version 4.26 of the Google Photos app and managed to enable a beta version of the Colorize feature. The outlet noted that the Colorize option will appear after the Original and Auto filter options when editing snaps, complete with a beta tag.
We previously learned that Google plans to do away with Google Hangouts as we currently know it by splitting off its features into two other apps known as Hangouts Meet and Hangouts Chat. For now, though, regular ol’ Hangouts is still available to use on your phone.
However, you won’t be able to install it on your Wear OS device anymore as Google appears to have removed the Wear OS version of the app from the Play Store.
