As the debut of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 draws near, the rumor storm intensifies. Today, we came across a report from the Korean media The Investor (citing ET News) that claims the new Note will come with a feature we’re somewhat familiar with.
According to the rumor, the Galaxy Note 8 may boast force touch, also known as 3D touch, capabilities. This is the technology that can detect the amount of pressure that is applied to a touchscreen, allowing the device to perform different actions depending on how hard the user presses.
Temple Run, one of the most popular free games in the Apple App Store, will soon make its debut on Android as well. According to developer Imangi Studios, the Temple Run Android release date will be March 27, although the game was previously supposed to reach Google’s mobile OS in February.
The endless gameplay of Temple Run is fairly simple by nature: collect as many gold coins as you can, using gestures to jump, slide, duck, and run, while evading the evil monkeys guarding the temple and all the obstacles in your path.
Owning an electric car is great because it means you no longer have to deal with gasoline and all of the downsides that come with it. Instead, you get rechargeable batteries in your car, and you get to skip going to the gas station. But one of the challenges when dealing with batteries is how temperature affects them. If it gets too cold, Teslas limit how much power it puts out, regenerative breaking capacity, and the charge rate.

Unlike LG’s current dual-screen accessories which are the same size as the phone display and help in multitasking, the new “Wing” phone’s shorter second screen is reportedly aimed at improving the content experience and interaction.
Spider-Man: No Way Home was already one of the most highly anticipated films of 2021 months before it was finally released in December. However, no one predicted that Tom Holland’s third stand-alone Spider-Man movie would become not just the year’s biggest hit in ticket sales, but one of the biggest box office successes of all time, both in the US and worldwide.
It stands to reason that when Spider-Man: No Way Home finally drops as a streaming release, it will get a ton of attention.
We’ve seen loads of Android gaming smartphones in the last few years, often featuring plenty of power, a high refresh rate, and extra inputs such as shoulder triggers. But dedicated Android-based handhelds from major companies have been few and far between.
It looked like Lenovo was preparing to unveil one such device at MWC 2021 according to details found on its own website. It’s unclear whether the firm still plans to release the Lenovo Legion Play device, but it offered a full suite of gaming controls (including two analog sticks), a 7,000mAh battery, and more.
Every year we see a slew of new Android apps, and 2021 was no exception. We saw a variety of apps hit the metaphorical shelves this year across various genres. Of course, some years are better than others, and 2021 was comparatively a bit of a slow year. We only saw a handful of apps make a real impact, but we did see an increase in niche apps that improved selections in less exciting genres.

Evidence suggests that the Pixel 6 series may get face unlock in a future update. A commit highlights the feature may require more power draw refinements. Face unlock would be a welcome companion to the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro’s in-display fingerprint sensor. The Pixel 6 series is Google’s most feature-packed smartphone line to date, but there was one glaring feature omission at launch.
