When Qualcomm launched the new “Krait” CPU architecture, I was disappointed that it didn’t launch the new Adreno 3xx GPU architecture as well. Ever since Qualcomm bought the Adreno team and technology from AMD a few years ago, the Adreno GPUs have been at least slightly behind the competition.
The new Adreno 320 GPU that is arriving in the quad core S4 Pro SoC comes with some much needed features that should push mobile graphics forward.

After seeing companies like Apple, Facebook, and Google bring the more politically correct and diverse Unicode 9.0 emojis, I was a bit concerned by Samsung’s inaction. But it seems like the South Korean tech giant has finally decided to bring Unicode 9.0 emoji support to the Galaxy Note7 with the “green battery icon” update. Better late than never, eh?

Streaming giant Netflix has a pretty solid track record with its exclusive shows. Whether it’s lush period dramas like Bridgerton, The Crown, and Queen’s Gambit, or character-driven genre fare like The Umbrella Academy, Sense8, and The OA, or high fantasy like The Witcher, Cursed, and The Letter for the King — Netflix is a proven heavy hitter.
In the new big-budget fantasy series Shadow and Bone, Netflix adds one more title to its growing stable.

TL;DR
The internal Android 12 codename is reported to be “snow cone.” However, that name wasn’t too popular for our readers. In a poll, we determined that “sundae” would have been a more popular name for Google to have used. Please note that Google has yet to formally confirm “snow cone” as the name, so it’s possible it could be different. Before we saw the first Android 12 developer preview, we learned of the possible internal “sweet treat” name for the newest version of the operating system.

Yet, 2020 can certainly be marked as the year when mid-range phones became better and more important than ever.
The ASUS MeMO Pad Smart 10 is a bit of an odd duck. With what are essentially the guts of a Nexus 7 and a body similar to the Transformer series (sans dock), it’s a little difficult to figure out who it’s aimed at.
