Galaxy S8 Plus vs Galaxy S7 Edge: How big is the generation gap?

Samsung really needed a flawless launch today, and so far, it delivered. Google makes ADB and fastboot available without Android Studio or SDK

Google has made ADB, fastboot, and other Android developer tools available as a standalone download. Previously, accessing these tools necessitated that users download Android Studio or the Android SDK, which meant grabbing files between 290 MB and 1.6 GB in size. Now you can download the platform tools (which contains ADB, fastboot and more) for Windows, MAC and Linux in .zip folders ranging from 3.4-3.7 MB. This speedy bit of tech promises to power up the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition to 50% in just 20 minutes. On paper, it sounds a lot faster than the OnePlus 6T’s standard 20W fast charging. To find out if this bit of technology is worth the extra cost, we stuck the two phones side by side and charged them up using the chargers and cables provided by OnePlus.

HTC Bolt review: the better data speed might not be worth it

The HTC Bolt is one of the most compromised smartphones that we've recently reviewed. It simply has too many small issues for its $600 price tag for us to make even a conditional recommendation. Table of contents When we reviewed the HTC 10 in early 2016, we dubbed it the comeback we had been waiting for. Insane battery life at a cost

Lenovo Flex 5GThe Lenovo Flex 5G is one of the first machines to run the Snapdragon 8cx and support 5G. These mobile-first components give it super fast internet and insane battery life, but come at a cost. I’m a big proponent of equipping as many mobile computers as possible with cellular connectivity. After all, what’s a laptop or tablet without the internet? While a handful of laptops — mostly enterprise-focused machines — do indeed offer LTE, the number isn’t nearly enough.
