Thanks to prominent leaker Evan Blass, we have some new high-quality renders of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2. The renders show off both the ‘buds themselves as well as their companion charging cases. The renders suggest there will be four colors of the earbuds: black, white, green, and purple. We know that the next Galaxy Unpacked event is happening on August 11. During that launch, we expect to see two new foldable phones and two new smartwatches.
When J.K. Shin, Samsung’s mobile boss, took the stage in the Radio City Music Hall last month, the tech world paused in a second of anticipation. Would the largest smartphone maker in the world deliver again? Would the Galaxy S4 continue the legacy of a series of phones that fundamentally changed the mobile landscape? What we got instead of an answer was a sensory assault that left us enthralled, but also a bit bewildered.
But look past the heavyweights and things get really interesting. Whether it’s a power bank posing as a phone, a phone posing as a walkie-talkie, or a good old blast from the QWERTY past, we saw some weird and wonderful phones at MWC 2019. Here are some of the coolest.
What happens when you take an 18,000mAh power bank and a generic Android phone and smash them together (no, not literally)?
You probably pick up a phone case any time you upgrade, but what about your laptop? Most people hang onto computers far longer than phones, so it makes sense to invest in durable protection. There are plenty of specific models out there, but it would take days to list them off. Here are the best laptop cases you can get that should fit a solid variety of laptops.

As someone who pays a fair bit of attention to the mobile industry, it’s clear to see that there are glaring differences between mobile markets throughout the world. Here in the UK, we’re still waiting on the full rollout of our LTE networks, but, on the other hand, I’ve often thought that US prices seem a little steep compared with here in the UK.
But rather than looking at small individual case studies, the GSM Association (GSMA) has released a report that looks deeper into the quality and usage differences between mobile networks in the US and European markets.
For a new Android user, visiting the Google Play Store to find useful apps could be overwhelming. Everywhere you look on the page there are app suggestions, easily drawing your attention away from the app that you wanted in the first place. You may also have noticed that the search function of the Google Play Store isn’t perfect and often fails to find less than popular apps. AndroidZoom: Apps Discoverer offers us a better and easier way to app-hunt, packaged in a tiny, well-crafted mobile application for your Android.

While we can’t guarantee the information is correct, if you’re on AT&T and have a Note 5 you might want to keep an eye out for an OTA update.

One of the requirements instituted by the DOJ for allowing the T-Mobile/Sprint deal was the selling off of Sprint’s prepaid business. The DOJ considered this a good faith effort to ensure competition stays fierce in wireless. Now, the deal that will see Boost Mobile and other Sprint MVNOs sold to Dish is final.
The sale will go forth on July 1, 2020 (viaTMoNews). As part of the deal, Dish will take control of Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile, and Sprint’s prepaid customers.
Although the name may not be as big as Samsung, HTC, Apple, Microsoft, and others, many of us have still heard of GooPhone. Usually not in a positive light, as the company has made its entire business ripping off of the designs of other handset makers. In most cases, you hear about them in the news for creating rip-offs. Don’t get us wrong, that’s totally what they do, but considering what they do, they’re the only ones who do it well.
