Though Wear OS-powered smartwatches aren’t always the best offerings, they still have their advantages. Fossil makes some of the best Wear OS watches available, and one of its products — the Fossil Sport — just got a new ridiculously low price tag thanks to a recent Amazon sale. The Fossil Sport retailed for $255 at launch. Now, users can pick up a brand new one for only $90. The original price tag wasn’t particularly high or anything, but this sale brings the Fossil Sport to a whole new category.

TL;DR OnePlus has revealed that it skipped Wear OS on the Watch for the sake of battery life. The company found that many people didn’t like the one-day batteries of many rivals. It was open to adding an always-on display feature, though. OnePlus was quick to acknowledge that the Watch wouldn’t run Wear OS, but it hasn’t said much about why. Thankfully, there’s now an explanation — if a brief one.

Hit the pavement with empty pockets. Wear OS users can finally download Spotify music directly to their devices. With Spotify’s latest app refresh, paid subscribers can now download albums, playlists, and podcasts to their Wear OS smartwatch. All in all, Spotify is finally bringing a much-needed music feature to Wear OS users. Before now, Wear OS did not have support for offline music playback from any of the popular music services, including Apple Music, Pandora, or even YouTube Music.

Motorola recently held its #hellomotoworld event in New York City, and though the Lenovo subsidiary did not unveil the rumored Moto X4, it did announce the Moto Z2 Force, the successor to 2016’s Moto Z Force. With a Snapdragon 835 and a dual-camera system, the Moto Z2 Force looks to be the closest thing to a flagship that Motorola will have this year. However, Motorola’s naming conventions during the past year with its Z-line of handsets might make it a bit difficult for some folks to tell the difference between the Moto Z2 Force and other Z-branded phones.
