Oppo confirmed that the Oppo Find X3 Pro will launch on March 11, 2021. The company also confirmed one of the major features of the phone as well as its chipset. You will be able to live stream the launch on YouTube. The hype machine has been working hard over the past few weeks when it comes to the upcoming Find X3 series. We expect there to be three devices in the lineup, including a Find X3 Lite and a Find X3 Neo.
Update, September 6, 2019 (3:40AM ET): Realme has confirmed that the Realme XT will launch in India on September 13 at 12:30PM IST (3AM ET).
This launch date means it’ll definitely beat the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro to the Indian market. Xiaomi says its own 64MP phone will likely launch eight weeks after the Chinese launch, which puts it in a late October or early November launch window.
We still don’t have any word on pricing right now, but hopefully it matches up well to the Xiaomi device.
Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 8 in India mere weeks after it unveiled the Redmi 8A in the country. The new smartphone is what we would call Xiaomi’s repackaging skills at its best.
Most of the Redmi 8 specs resemble those of the Redmi 8A. Heck, the only difference here is an extra camera, a tweaked rear design, and the addition of a fingerprint sensor. The rest, as they say, is history.

T-Mobile has cut hundreds of Sprint jobs just two months after the merger. The call announcing the layoffs lasted just six minutes. Employees affected are eligible for severance pay. The layoffs, which were reported by TechCrunch, come just about two months after the merger was completed. Unfortunately, when two large companies merge, there tends to be redundancy, but that never makes it any easier for those affected.

Netflix is one of the best premium streaming services, with thousands of movies to choose from. That list includes some of the best action movies ever made, with lots of thrills, spills, and high-adrenaline sequences. WhatsApp is reportedly testing a 2GB file size limit for sharing. This feature is currently restricted to beta users in Argentina. One area where Telegram is undoubtedly superior to WhatsApp is the file size limit for sharing, allowing users to send files as large as 2GB to each other. Meanwhile, WhatsApp tops out at 100MB for shared files.
Fortunately, WABetaInfo reports that WhatsApp is now testing the ability to share files as large as 2GB.
5G is expected to be everywhere in 2020, and traditional Windows laptops are no exception either. Now Dell has announced the Latitude 9510 laptop, and it’s packing Intel power and 5G connectivity.
The 15-inch Latitude 9510 sports a Qualcomm X55 modem with sub-6Ghz 5G connectivity only, which means you’re missing out on mmWave 5G if you get this device. We’ve asked about the possibility of a mmWave variant in the future and will update the article when we get a response.

Android 13 may help games load faster and offer better performance. Game developers may gain more control over shaders. Android gamers may be in for a pleasant surprise with Android 13, according to newly discovered code in the Android 13 Developer Preview.
According to Mishaal Rahman, the latest preview includes a new method in the GameManager API. The new method, setGameState, will allow a game to pass the platform its state and whether it is currently loading something.

Working for Android Authority is both a blessing and a (bit of a) curse — please, don’t tell the boss we said that. You get to try a lot of cool new tech and gadgets throughout the year, but you rarely have time to enjoy the latest and greatest before the next thing rolls around. However, every once in a while, there’s a standout product that really hits home.
CyanogenMod 14.1 support has reached even more devices. The latest version of CyanogenMod, based on Android 7.1, was made available for the first time on November 8 for ten-or-so popular handsets. Since then a number of additional devices have made the ‘nightlies’ roster.
The most recent handsets to receive nightly builds include Google’s Nexus 5 [hammerhead] from 2013 and Samsung’s Galaxy S3 [i9300] from 2012, as well as:
