While our phones add a lot to our lives, it’s probably safe to say most of us wish we used them less. Between constant notifications and apps like Twitter and Instagram, it’s easy to lose a good chunk of your day simply looking at your phone. Of course, context is important. We all use our smartphones differently. For some, their phone is their only computer and connection to the internet, as well as family and friends.
As we wave goodbye to 2019, we’re not just waving goodbye to a year — we’re waving goodbye to an entire decade. And what a decade it’s been! Android Authority is going to publish a bunch of “Best of the Decade” articles over the next few weeks that will hopefully send home just how eventful the past ten years have been in the world of Android smartphones.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been thinking about 2020 and what I hope to achieve.
Most seasoned photographers will tell you megapixels aren’t everything — and they’d be right — but megapixels are exactly what matter here. This is a story about two sensors and the software that supports them. In our Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra vs Xiaomi Mi Note 10 showdown, we assess how the 108MP sensors perform against one another.
As two of the first phones to reach the market with such pixel-rich cameras, it’s important to determine if we’re looking at the future of mobile photography or a marketing party trick.

A listing on the Samsung website seems to have confirmed the new Samsung Galaxy Watch. Although the listing is gone now, we have a screenshot that shows an image, the name, and a model number. The Galaxy Watch is likely to launch on August 9. Earlier today, CNET got a tip from a Twitter user that the official Samsung website had a listing for a Samsung Galaxy Watch.

All about batteries: What is mAh?
Features
Unlike conventional lithium-ion batteries found in our smartphones, the battery developed by Mike Zimmerman is a lot safer. It will not catch fire when damaged and will continue to work even if you cut it in half.

Google will let Wear OS users rotate the watch screen 180 degrees. This has been a long-requested feature for left-handed users. It sounds like this feature is coming to new watches only. Google has been spending a lot of time on its once-neglected smartwatch platform, releasing Wear OS 3 as a major overhaul last year. The company isn’t stopping there though, as it turns out that it’s also tackling an oft-neglected demographic with an upcoming feature addition.
We’re just a few days away from the official release of Google Stadia and we’ve already got our review unit. I managed to snag the @Android handle, so all you casuals can feel my wrath in Destiny 2. Get wrecked, scrubs.
In all seriousness, Google gave us a Founder’s Edition Stadia early and allowed us to unbox it for you. There isn’t a lot new here past what you already know, but we figured we’d do a quick post to show you what you’ll get for your money.
