One of the new features packed into Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S7 is a new rear camera unit and it seems that the new sensor also works pretty well for slow motion video capture, as the video above from EuroTech attests to. The five minute video was captured at 720p and 240fps, which has been slowed down to a more standard frame rate to create a slow motion effect.
Impressively, the video was captured without the use of a tripod and still manages to look very steady.
Back in November I wrote an article about ditching your contract and going unlocked, and it’s a common sentiment you’ll here across the web: ridding yourself of a contract means more freedom and in most situations it costs less in the long-run. Of course, I’d be lying if I said there were no trade-offs with going with a prepaid or no-contract post-paid carrier.
As with nearly everything in life, both contract and no-contract options have their own set of pros and cons.
HBO Max is the home of some of the most popular shows and movies available, and the $9.99 monthly pricing reflects that. That’s for the version with ads, but until January 24, you can sign up for this or the ad-free version for 20% off the usual price.
The deal means that you can get the ad-supported version of the service for just $7.99 per month, or the ad-free plan for $11.

You should be aware that spam messages posing as Google Photos emails are entering inboxes. If you see an email like this, treat it as suspect. It is very likely a scam email. The best thing to do is mark the email as Spam or Junk and make sure you don’t visit any websites or download any programs linked to the message. Today, we spotted a Google Photos email in our mailbox that claimed our photos had been “published”.
Using PS Remote Play, you can connect your PS5 console to stream to your PS4, meaning you can play the next-gen games on Sony’s last-generation system. If you’re not ready to part with the PS4, it’s a great way to pause your PS5 games in one room and pick them up in the next or play online multiplayer with friends under the same roof. Here’s how to control your PS5 from a PS4.
Apple is rumored to launch at least one new iPhone model later this year, with iPhone 5S being the logical name for one of them, a device that’s expected to be an iPhone 5 upgrade. But while the iPhone 5S is not even official yet, the GooPhone i5S, a Chinese Android knock off, is getting ready to sell for just $99.
GooPhone doesn’t need any more introductions by now as, unfortunately, the company has ripped plenty of other products including them into its “Goo” line – and they’re not all Apple devices, as the lists includes copies of the iPhone 5, the iPad mini, the HTC One but also the Galaxy Note 2.
LG Pay is a mobile digital payment service from LG. It’s only available on a few devices right now and it only recently became available outside of South Korea. The service is very similar to Samsung Pay with support for both NFC payments as well MST (magnetic secure transmissions) to mimic real debit and credit cards. LG uses WMC (Wireless Magnetic Communication) for this trick. It’s still quite new, but it’s already a decent option depending on your financial set up.
Motorola Moto X PlayThe Moto X Play is a solid smartphone at a cheap price. The camera is great, the screen is crisp, and Motorola's added software features provide just the right amount of functionality without getting in the way. If you can get past the poor speaker quality and lack of included Turbo Charger, you might want to consider picking up a Moto X Play for yourself.

It seems like TVs are one of the more popular items on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, right up there with audio products, gaming-related goodies, and smart home devices.
But a recent article shared in our work Slack group has made me question just how often people are upgrading to a new TV set. So how often are you buying a new TV to replace your old one, then?
Today, Samsung announced its first flash memory chips based on the newly approved eMMC 5.1 standard. eMMC is an embedded version of the MultiMediaCard standard, which packages the NAND memory and controller into a single chip. This technology is found in all smartphones and tablets on the market today. Earlier this month, Samsung began mass producing the industry’s first combined DRAM and eMMC ePOP memory package.
Samsung states that its eMMC 5.
