In the last seven years, the smartphone industry has seen some incredible evolutions in technology. Security is better, batteries are more efficient, and displays feature advancements like high refresh rates. Still, these improvements pale in comparison to the changes found in smartphone cameras. With the OnePlus 9 Pro so heavily marketed on its photography prowess, I thought it fitting to compare the brand’s latest flagship with the original flagship killer, 2014’s OnePlus One, to see how much OnePlus’ camera tech has evolved.

We previously learned that Google plans to do away with Google Hangouts as we currently know it by splitting off its features into two other apps known as Hangouts Meet and Hangouts Chat. For now, though, regular ol’ Hangouts is still available to use on your phone. However, you won’t be able to install it on your Wear OS device anymore as Google appears to have removed the Wear OS version of the app from the Play Store.

Original article, June 15, 2020 (9:20 AM ET): Samsung first announced its popular A-series phones in the US back in April. While the company detailed a total of six phones at the time, it didn’t launch them all of them at once. Only the Galaxy A11, Galaxy A01, and Galaxy A51 were available in the US until now, but Samsung has just confirmed the release date of a fourth phone in the series, the Galaxy A71 5G.

Expect major performance gains over Intel-based Macbook Pro models and Dolphin under Rosetta. The native version of Dolphin also displayed far better efficiency. Good news, folks. Samsung has begun pushing out the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100). For now, the update is only available in France (XEF) through the Kies PC companion software. No information on an OTA rollout just yet, but knowing Samsung, it shouldn’t be too far behind. Other countries should follow over the coming days, with priority given to unlocked versions of the Note 2. Carrier-branded models are subject to more approvals and testing, so they tend to lag when it comes to system updates.
