The comments come after the WSJ reported on the iPhone and iMessage dominance among US teens. The outlet also touched on the green bubble phenomenon among teens. Apple’s iMessage has acquired a huge following in the US, and one of the strangest trends is the blue bubble/green bubble controversy. Android users gain a green text bubble in iMessage rather than the default blue bubble, as they’re forced to use SMS instead of sending messages via data.

One of the reasons I switched over to Android was because a DIY geek like me loves the thrill of customization. Jimmy Westenberg / Android Authority Fitbit Sense During its annual I/O developer conference last week, Google showed off the often-rumored Google Pixel Watch and gave us a short rundown of what to expect. This was a big deal for Google enthusiasts who have been anticipating a Pixel Watch for years. However, for me, it wasn’t all that interesting. I have my sights firmly set on another Google wearable in 2022: the Fitbit Sense 2.

Apple and Samsung will continue to be Blackberry's biggest challengers in the enterprise market. TL;DR Reports prior to the launch of the iPhone XS Max pointed to LG creating the device’s OLED screen. However, it appears that Samsung created the OLEDs, just like with previous iPhones. It is unclear what happened with the previously reported LG deal. However, according to DisplayMate, the OLED display in the iPhone XS Max is made by Samsung Display, which is the same company that made the previous iPhone displays.

Jimmy Westenberg / Android Authority Update, January 14, 2022 (02:51 PM ET): It’s been a wild ride for the Google Pixel 6 series as far as updates go. After Google pulled the December 2021 security patch and then skipped the series for the January 2022 Android security patch, it is finally righting this wrong. Starting today, the January 2022 patch is available for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. It is combined with the December 2021 patch and includes fixes specific to the Pixel 6 series.

Xiaomi 11T ProXiaomi aimed high with the 11T Pro, but didn't quite reach its target. The phone has plenty going for it, such as a gorgeous display, top performance, and blazing fast charging, but the cameras are middling and there are several missing features that hurt its overall appeal. An admirable attempt at balancing price and quality, the 11T Pro tips slightly in the wrong direction when stacked against tough competition.

While the new Moto lineup is arguably more Lenovo than Motorola, the company has been working hard to bring out a number of new devices recently. On the higher-end tier we have the Moto Z family, consisting of the Moto Z, Moto Z Force, and most recently, the Moto Z Play. Then there’s the more affordable Moto G4 family. While the new G4 family garnered some attention early on this summer for their low prices, the Moto G4 Play is ending the summer with an even more aggressive price that’s sure to raise a few eyes for those on a budget.

The new Samsung Galaxy S4 ad, called “Grad Pool Party” manages to show off some of the smartphone’s new features, while making fun of the iPhone at the same time. If previous Samsung Galaxy S4 ads were introducing some of the new features, like Sound & Shot, Group Play, and S Translator, or highlighting the design and looks of the new device, this one does the same, with the added bonus of some pokes in Apple’s direction (which are not a new thing for Samsung, after all).
