The newly announced LG G3 is a feature packed flagship handset, offering up a range of cutting edge technologies that give other flagships a run for their money. Although the QHD display might be the talk of the town, there’s another really interesting piece of technology tucked away in the LG G3’s camera – laser auto focus. As the name implies, the LG G3 make use of a laser sensor system to adjust the focus of the handset’s rear camera, rather than say phase detection focusing used in the Galaxy S5 and more expensive DSLR cameras, or the popular contrast detection method.

What is Google Now? There’s some confusion out there in the Android world. Google Now is not Android’s “Siri killer”, that’s Voice Search (which you can get to and use from within Google Now). Google Now is much, much more than an application that listens to queries and spits out answers. I’m not even sure we can call Google Now a virtual assistant either. Google Now is about automating your life and in return, making your life easier.

OnePlus has always been at the forefront of fast charging solutions for smartphones. It started with Dash charging on the OnePlus 3 and moved up to Warp Charge 30T on the OnePlus 7T. As OnePlus boosts charging speeds (not charging power), battery drain remains an issue of concern. This is why the company has introduced a new feature called Optimized Charging. When you put your phone on charge before going to bed, Optimized Charging will ensure the battery charges to 80% initially.

If there was no Galaxy S9e and there likely won’t be a Galaxy S20e, what does that make the Samsung Galaxy S10e? We can only conclude that the Galaxy S10e was a one-off experiment from Samsung, a quick test of the waters to see if offering a slightly less-expensive variant of its flagship phones would be a hit. Judging from the prevalent rumors that there won’t be a Galaxy S20e, it appears that the experiment failed.

We saw leaked images and renders of the sleek red colorway for the S20 Plus earlier this month. However, we didn’t see that there will be a matching set of Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus, too. Google’s new Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL offer a lot of features but as with any new smartphone, it’s not without its issues. The search function can be accessed in the Pixel app drawer. It’s not clear where it will be on other Android skins. Search queries earn results from all over the device, including contacts, settings, apps, files, and more. On most Android phones nowadays, there’s a persistent Google search bar on the home screen.
