It’s possible this is a hardware failure, but a true cause is a mystery for now. Google is no stranger to hardware issues on its phones. The Nexus 6P — which Google co-created with Huawei — is one of the most notorious phones for post-sale issues that essentially bricked the device.

This year was pure bliss for Android purists, with two Nexus devices hitting market. While we can’t really claim secrets are better kept in the Android décor than in Apple’s world, especially now, we can’t help but laugh our behinds off whenever iPhone clones looking exactly like the originals come out before the authentic devices. But iPhone 5’s launch was even more special and amusing than usual. And not just because we saw Apple stoop to one of its lowest levels ever by calling the new device a major upgrade for simply featuring a bigger display and “groundbreaking” 4G LTE speeds.

The slide details the issues that large sensors would present, including camera bumps thicker than the phone itself. The policy states that all Android-based Galaxy-branded devices from 2019 or later will now get four years of security patches.
