We have Android app lists for many, many topics. After all, people use their Android devices for a ton of different things. Many of these apps are pretty mainstream, while others are very niche. These niche apps work exceptionally well, but only for the few people who actually need them.
Anybody can write a list of weird apps that do nothing. This list pays an ode to the wonderful niche apps that actually work really well should you find yourself in a position to actually use one.

You finally mastered manual mode, and now photographers are throwing fancy terms like “dynamic range” at you. Learning new photography terms can be overwhelming (there are so many). Don’t worry — understanding dynamic range is much simpler than it seems. It’s also an important concept in photography, so keep reading to learn all about it.

Google was the first smartphone manufacturer to offer an astrophotography mode, doing so with 2019’s Pixel 4 series. The mode allows you to take photos of the night sky, including stars, light trails from planes and satellites, and even the Milky Way.
Astrophotography modes are now available on phones from the likes of Realme, Vivo, and Xiaomi, and I detailed my love for the mode in an opinion piece earlier this month.
Unihertz Atom
The Unihertz Atom is a phone you don't really want to keep using, but that is the whole point of it. You do what you have to do and get on with your life. It is nonaddictive by nature.
The Unihertz Atom is a tiny phone with a 2.45-inch display. It comes with decent specs, but the phone’s design is what’s really going to spark conversations. About 80 percent of the people I showed this phone to told me they totally wanted one.
ZTE Blade Z MaxThe best thing about the Blade Z Max, besides its price, is its outstanding battery life. Among its impressive feature set, it delivers a good display and an excellent finger scanner. But despite having a dual camera, only the main shooter is remarkable - the poorly implemented dual-lens modes aren't worth your time. Definitely consider if you're on a budget.
What we likeFingerprint scanner performance is great. Extremely accurate and responsive
Huami Amazfit Stratos 3It's simply painful to use the Amazfit Stratos 3 and it's surprising that Huami's cheaper smartwatches, such as the Amazfit Bip S and Amazfit GTS, perform far better than this one. You're better off spending your money elsewhere than struggling with this bulky, unreliable device.

Chinese wearables company Huami makes decent fitness watches and bands, and I’ve had the opportunity to use and review quite a few of them.
Our modern Android devices open the door to a connected, high-tech world that years ago we only dreamed was possible. The power and capability of our Android phones and tablets continue to increase, and as a result they are getting smarter and smarter. With just a little setup, it’s amazing how much our phones can do automatically. Although this isn’t possible with every single task, you do have the option of automating quite a few tasks using either built-in functions or added apps/services that are readily available in the Google Play store.
Arm has not one but two new high-performance CPUs destined for 2021 mobile SoCs. First is the anticipated Cortex-A78, building on the standard Cortex-A roadmap. The surprise announcement is the Cortex-X1, a powerhouse CPU designed with partners in Arm’s new CXC program, which replaces “Built on Arm Cortex.”
Arm’s Cortex-A78 and Cortex-X1 are both based on the previous generation Cortex-A77. However, the two ARM processors are designed with different design goals in mind.
BlueStacks has long been the gold standard for Android emulators on PC. It’s the name everyone knows and BlueStacks always seems to be doing something interesting. However, a new challenger has hit the floor. It’s called Andy. Can it take on the long-time champ? Let’s take a look!
BlueStacks interface is extremely easy to use.
Ease of use and setup Our first category is ease of use and setup. After all, what good is an emulator if you can’t figure out how to use it, right?
