Samsung’s S Note app is now in the Play Store

When it comes to unbundling apps, Google took the lead, and Android manufacturers have followed it closely. The latest one is Samsung, who just uploaded a key app of the Galaxy Note series to the Play Store. S Note used to be exclusively available on Note devices, but Samsung made it available for other phones and tablets as well. Now it looks like the compatibility of S Note has been extended to include even non-Samsung devices.

Saying 'OK Google' could become optional in some cases and it's a bit concerning

Robert Triggs / Android Authority TL;DR Quick Phrases will let you perform Google Assistant tasks without requiring the “Ok/Hey Google” hotword. You may soon no longer need to use “Ok/Hey Google” to get the Google Assistant to perform certain tasks on your phone and smart home devices.

There’s certainly nothing ‘new’ in Google’s arguments; we all understood the situation, but we’d accepted iMessage’s exclusivity and stopped questioning it every day. This new public outcry, though, succeeded in putting one more time the spotlight on Apple’s tactic and the anti-social behaviors it’s implicitly encouraging among US teenagers. It’s also the first time Google has been clear about what it’d like to see from Apple: RCS. That was the first mid-range OnePlus phone in years, and the firm has since embraced budget devices in a massive way. OnePlus has done a solid job of picking up where the original left off. But what if you want something a little different? The OnePlus Nord might not fully convince you.
