RIP LG G series: From Optimus G to G8

It’s time to bid farewell to the LG G series (2012 – 2019). In Android circles, the LG G series sits right up there with the Galaxy S, HTC One, and Xperia brands as storied icons of the mobile industry.

Snapdragon 820 vs Exynos 8890: the 2016 mobile SoC battle begins Features With this in mind, we’ve put together a list of the best Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 phones ever released.

What is EMUI? — a closer look at Huawei’s Android skin

The EMUI skin sits on top of Android on Huawei and Honor devices. It’s far from the most popular skin out there. Arm has announced that from 2023, all of its new smartphone CPU cores will be 64-bit only, with no 32-bit compatibility mode. We have had 64-bit capable smartphone processors since 2013 when Apple included the 64-bit A7 processor in the iPhone 5s. 64-bit CPUs came to Android soon after, but all those CPUs could run both 32-bit code and 64-bit code. So, we went from 32-bit only, to 32-bit and 64-bit, and now we are leaving 32-bits behind and moving to a 64-bit only era.
