Some companies seemingly want to push the boundaries of what we can still call a smartphone. If a smartphone gets too big, can it skip over “phablet” and just be called a tablet? It looks like smartphone manufacturer BLU would like to bridge that precious gap between phone and tablet with the new BLU Studio 7.0 – a 7-inch smartphone – currently being sold for just $149.99 unlocked.
The ‘phone’ is compatible with GSM networks, and offers 4G connectivity.
Razer Kishi
The Razer Kishi is one of the best mobile-first controllers on the market, with great compatibility and low-latency inputs. It won't work with wired headphones and the connection when cloud gaming can be spotty, but it's well worth the price tag for avid mobile gamers.
Despite being a 50-billion-dollar industry, smartphone gaming is really still finding its footing. Most smartphone controllers on the market are simply console controllers with a smartphone stand attached, which can lead to bulky contraptions that are a major hindrance to portability.

Today, Google took the wraps off its latest pair of smartphones: the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. A new feature that comes with those new devices is called Motion Sense, which is Google’s marketing language for the Pixel 4’s radar-based features.
You might be thinking: “Radar? As in what they use to track airplanes and submarines?” Yes, that is the very same technology housed in the front-facing sensor system of the Pixel 4.

Amid the fanfare of a new Galaxy Note 9 launch, Samsung is offering those who pre-order a choice: get some sweet AKG N60 NC headphones, or 15,000 Fortnite V-Bucks. So which one should you get? The headphones, duh. It’s nothing against Fortnite: it’s just the better deal.
The economics Taking the headphones isn’t a better deal just because because the AKG N60 NC retails for $250-$300 (15,000 V-Bucks go for about $150).
Although many of the United States carrier variants of the Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus, and Galaxy Note 8 have already received the upgrade to Android 9 Pie, users with unlocked variants have been left out in the cold. That is, until now: it appears Android 9 Pie is rolling out now to unlocked devices in the U.S. (via 9to5Google).
Users on various Samsung-related subreddits were the first to report the new rollout, with some posting screenshots of the 1.
TheSony Playstation 5 is a massive leap forward for console gaming and has technically been on the market since late 2020, though many of us havestruggled to buy one due to stock shortages. At the time of the PS5’s announcement, many wondered if Sony would continue to meaningfully support VR during the PS5 generation. We got our answer in February 2021, as Sony finally confirmed it was working on the PSVR 2.
The Expedia mobile app has recently been updated. And nicely done, this update brings the app just a little bit closer to offering a full experience (similar to the regular website). The update is available in the expected location, Google Play, and has arrived as version 2.0 with support for devices running Android 2.2 or later. The update brings only a few changes, but they all seem to be big changes.
Google’s mid-range smartphones from 2019 have completed their successful run and are now out to pasture. The company confirmed that it discontinued making and selling the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL in July 2020. While the phones are no longer available from the Google Store, there are some third-party platforms where you could still find the smartphone.
