CyanogenMod 10.2 (Android 4.3) could pack the new Focal camera, team says

A few days after the CyanogenMod team revealed its new Android-related product, Focal – part of a greater initiative called Nemesis – we hear that the new camera app will be included in CyanogenMod 10.2.
In a longer Google+ post, the team said that Focal will be included in CM 10.2, but that the app won’t make it to CM 10.1, or at least not just yet, as CM 10.2 appears to be a priority:
[quote qtext=”Focal now available in CyanogenMod 10.2!
Focal has been pushed to the official CyanogenMod repositories, and is now available automatically in CyanogenMod 10.2 builds!” qperson=”” qsource=”” qposition=”center”]
The app won’t be made available via the Google Play Store either, “as it would be too much work to maintain,” and it won’t be supported in unofficial builds “at all,” or in builds “not running on CyanogenMod.”
Even in CM 10.2 there’s apparently a lot of work to make Focal stable in order to replace the stock camera.
As for the actual progress with CM 10.2, the blog post says that “quick progress” has been made with the new custom ROM, without revealing more details.
