After a few weeks of various leaks and rumors, Motorola took the wraps off the Motorola Moto G Power (2022). As with the 2021 iteration of the phone, it’s a budget Android device with a huge battery.

Unfortunately, Motorola didn’t make the phone too much better than the 2021 model. In fact, it even made things slightly worse by offering a slower wired charging speed. However, budget shoppers who mostly care about a smartphone’s battery life should give this a look.

Check out the specs, a gallery of photos, and when and where you’ll be able to get the Motorola Moto G Power (2022) below.

Price and availability

Eric Zeman / Android Authority

The Moto G Power (2022) will cost $199 for the base model with 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM. The upgraded model with 128GB of storage and the same RAM count will cost $249.

In the United States, you’ll be able to buy it first at Metro by T-Mobile and Republic Wireless. However, Motorola did not give an exact date for this rollout other than “in the coming months.” It’s unlikely it will launch before 2022 begins, though.
