Android 8.1 rolling out to Indian units
Unfortunately, for now anyway, those updates are only going out to Indian versions of the Nokia 6 and Indian, Tunisian, and Indonesian versions of the Nokia 5. Other markets can probably expect to see updates in the next few days, but we don’t have any confirmation on that.

Both updates come in at under 1GB each, and for some reason must be downloaded while the phone is connected to active Wi-Fi. To update your Nokia 5 or Nokia 6, simply head to Settings > System updates and check for a new update while connected to Wi-Fi.
Nokia has been setting the bar pretty high when it comes to delivering timely updates to all of its devices. The company’s de facto flagship, the Nokia 8 (2017), got Android 8.1 Oreo in February, roughly two months after Google released the first official build.
