Thought Mi Band 4 and 3 were too expensive? Then Mi Band 3i is for you

Following a series of teasers on Twitter, Xiaomi has finally announced the Mi Band 3i. Designed specifically for India, the wearable makes a few omissions over the Mi Band 4 to hit a much more affordable price point.
Positioned as an upgrade over the Mi Band HRX, the 3i features a larger 0.78-inch display. The AMOLED panel is touch capable, and you can swipe around to launch activities or jump between display panels.
While the Mi Band 3i retains most of the features you’d expect, including notifications of apps, raise to view notifications, being able to handle incoming calls. What you do miss out on, is a heart rate sensor. If granular data during fitness sessions is an important buying factor for you, consider stepping up to the Mi Band 4.
To help promote the launch of the new wearable, Xiaomi is hosting a 3km walk and a 5km run in Bengaluru on December 1. You can click here to register for that event. According to this tweet from Xiaomi, every finisher of those races will get a Xiaomi Mi Band 3i for free.
The Mi Band 3i is now available at mi.com. Priced at Rs. 1,299, it is one of the most affordable wearables in India.
